SERVER RULES

Read carefully. Breaking these rules results in punishment up to a permanent ban.

📋 General Server Rules

  1. Respect All Players — Treat all community members with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or toxic behavior will result in immediate action.
  2. No Cheating or Exploits — Any form of cheating, hacking, or exploiting game mechanics is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
  3. Age Requirement — All players must be 18 years or older to participate in Dominion RP.
  4. No Advertising — Advertising other servers, communities, or services is prohibited and will result in a ban.
  5. English Only in Public Channels — English must be used in all public voice and text channels for moderation purposes.
  6. No Sexual Content — Erotic roleplay (ERP) and sexual content is strictly prohibited. This is a zero-tolerance rule.
  7. Staff Decisions are Final — Respect staff decisions. If you disagree, file an appeal through proper channels — not in-game.

📋 Roleplay Guidelines

  1. Stay In Character — Maintain your character at all times while in the server. Use appropriate channels for OOC communication.
  2. No Metagaming — Using out-of-character information to gain an in-character advantage is prohibited.
  3. Value Your Life — Your character should act realistically when their life is in danger. Fear RP is mandatory.
  4. No Powergaming — Forcing actions on other players without giving them a chance to respond or using unrealistic abilities is not allowed.
  5. Realistic Character Names — Use realistic first and last names. No famous names, memes, or joke characters allowed.
  6. No Fail RP — Act realistically in all situations. Running into a gunfight with no weapon or ignoring injuries is fail RP.
  7. Proper /me and /do Usage — Use /me for actions and /do for environmental descriptions. These must be realistic and used appropriately.
  8. No Breaking Character in Voice — Do not speak out of character in voice chat. Use text or designated OOC channels for non-RP communication.

📋 Combat & Crime Rules

  1. No Random Deathmatch (RDM) — You must have valid roleplay reason before engaging in combat. Random attacks are prohibited.
  2. No Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) — Using vehicles as weapons without proper RP justification is not allowed.
  3. Combat Logging — Disconnecting during active RP situations, especially combat, is strictly prohibited.
  4. Robbery Cooldowns — Wait at least 15 minutes between robberies. Only one major crime (bank, store) per hour per gang.
  5. Hostage Rules — Hostages must be voluntary or have valid RP reason. Police must be given reasonable demands and response time.
  6. No Cop Baiting — Intentionally committing crimes solely to attract police attention for a chase or shootout is prohibited.
  7. Green Zone Rules — No crime or violence in designated safe zones: Hospital, Police Station lobby, City Hall, and mechanic shops.
  8. Weapon Limits — Class 2 weapons (rifles, SMGs) require proper RP acquisition. No spawning with military-grade weapons.

📋 New Life Rule (NLR)

  1. What is NLR? — When your character dies and respawns at the hospital, you lose all memory of the events leading to your death.
  2. Return Timer — After death, you cannot return to the area where you died for 15 minutes.
  3. Revenge Killing — You cannot seek revenge on those who killed you as you have no memory of the incident.
  4. Downed vs Dead — If you are revived by EMS before respawning, NLR does not apply. You remember everything.
  5. Perma Death — Permanent character death is optional but must be clearly communicated and is irreversible.

📋 Criminal & Gang Rules

  1. Gang Size Limits — Maximum of 6 members in any criminal activity at once. No alliance stacking to bypass this limit.
  2. Gang Registration — All gangs must be registered with server staff. Unregistered groups cannot claim territory.
  3. Turf Wars — Territory disputes must have proper buildup and RP. No random drive-bys or unprovoked attacks.
  4. Drug Operations — Drug manufacturing and sales must follow established RP. No selling in safe zones.
  5. Bank Heists — Require minimum 4 gang members and at least 4 police online. Proper planning and RP required.
  6. No Gang Hopping — Wait 7 days before joining a new gang after leaving one. No sharing intel between gangs.

📋 Police & EMS Rules

  1. Police Must Identify — Officers must clearly identify themselves before making arrests. Plain clothes require verbal ID.
  2. Use of Force — Follow the use of force continuum. Lethal force only when life is in immediate danger.
  3. Miranda Rights — Suspects must be read their rights before questioning. Evidence obtained otherwise may be void.
  4. EMS Neutrality — EMS are neutral and must treat all patients regardless of criminal status. They cannot be taken hostage during active treatment.
  5. Pursuit Limits — Air-1 requires approval. Spike strips and PIT maneuvers have speed and situation restrictions.
  6. Corruption RP — Corrupt cop RP requires staff approval and must be subtle. No mass corruption or sharing police intel freely.

📋 Economy & Business Rules

  1. No Money Exploits — Exploiting bugs or glitches for money is bannable. Report any exploits to staff immediately.
  2. Business Registration — All businesses must be registered through proper RP channels and approved by staff.
  3. No Real Money Trading — Trading in-game money or items for real money is strictly prohibited and results in permanent ban.
  4. Job Abuse — AFK farming, macro usage, or exploiting job mechanics is not allowed.
  5. Scamming Limits — IC scams are allowed but limited to $50,000. House and vehicle scams require staff involvement.

📋 Communication Rules

  1. Voice Chat Etiquette — Use push-to-talk. No hot mics, music playing, or excessive background noise.
  2. Radio Usage — Radios have limited range. Use proper radio codes and maintain realistic communication.
  3. OOC Chat Rules — Keep OOC chat minimal. Use Discord or designated OOC channels for extended discussions.
  4. No Slurs or Hate Speech — Racial slurs, hate speech, and discriminatory language is strictly prohibited in all channels.
  5. 911/311 Calls — Use 911 for emergencies only. 311 for non-emergencies. False calls may result in punishment.
  6. Twitter/Twatter Rules — In-game social media must stay in character. No posting locations during active crimes.
